About us
A studio built around Indian weddings.
Mirth Memories is a photography studio based in Indore. We spend the season inside weddings across central Madhya Pradesh: haldi in a courtyard, a baraat on a closed road, the ten minutes before a bride walks out.
The rest of the year is pre-weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and portfolio work. Same approach either way: turn up early, stay out of the way, and photograph the room as it is.
We work in both directions of the frame. The formal portraits families expect are made properly, with light and time given to them. Everything around those portraits is documented as it happens.
How it goes
We talk
A call or a meeting at the studio. Dates, venues, how many days, what your family cares about most.
We plan
A running order for each function, a shot list for the family portraits, and the timings that light actually allows.
We shoot
We arrive before the event starts and stay till it ends. You are told where to stand only when it is worth it.
We deliver
Edited highlights first, then the complete set. Albums and prints made to order.
Where we travel
Most of our work sits within a few hours of Indore. We travel further for destination weddings, with travel and stay added at cost.
